Platinum Series

You can expect the same high quality systems that FASS is known for at a lower cost. FASS came up with a new product using their technology and quality to design a smaller version of the fuel air separation systems. A completely new base for the system was used in order to keep size to a minimum. The fuel filter and water filter are now combined and still maintains the quality air separation. The Platinum Series was designed for the light truck applications in mind. Applications for this series include Dodge, Ford and Chevy. The Platinum will cover stock to moderate performance applications.
Titanium Series

Formerly known as the 95 series these systems are our first choice. You get a super reliable pump with a fuel filter and water separator all in a small convenient package! The Titanium series are also very competitively priced. These systems are best for stock to moderate performance trucks running up to 600 HP.
Heavy Duty Series

Formerly known as the 150 series these systems are for moderate to extreme performance trucks. The biggest difference between these and the Titanium Series is the size. The Heavy Duty systems use larger filters and pumps. These systems are best for moderate to extreme performance trucks running 600 HP and up.
Fuel Pump Series

These are pump only systems that do not have a filter or a water separator. FASS has introduced their DDRP or Dodge Direct Replacement Pump to solve the issues with unreliable feed pumps found on Dodge trucks. If you need the reliability of a performance pump, but are not using performance upgrades on your truck the DDRP is for you. The DDRP is designed to be a direct bolt on replacement for the stock unit. If you are running higher performance and you want a pump without filters that will keep up then you need a FASS pump only system.

Here is a letter from Brad Ekstam the creator of the FASS systems.
Good Day,
We wanted to take the opportunity to introduce the history of FASS. The FASS System was first developed for the class 8 semi markets. It was designed to address inconsistent performance while improving horsepower and DIESEL FUEL MILEAGE, by removing the air from the fuel itself. Thus our name was born, ‘FASS' standing for Fuel Air Separation System.
Then in 2003 our FASS system was the first to successfully address the failing lift pumps on the light truck applications. While most customers in the light truck market purchase the FASS System for the durable/high quality fuel pump they also experience an increase in DIESEL FUEL MILEAGE, horsepower and torque. They no longer had problems with cold weather starts nor did they have to worry about their VP-44 injection pump on Dodge truck applications.
With my many years of experience in the diesel market I've become comfortable with telling consumers they will likely pick up 8% or more on DIESEL FUEL MILEAGE. This applies to the entire diesel community; semi's, diesel pickups, mining equipment, etc. Although we can not guarantee this, most people understand the variables presented by weather, traffic conditions, and driving habits make it impossible to do so. The increases we typically see are as follows: Class 8 Trucks, a solid .4mpg and Pickups, between 1 - 3mpg.
We have also noticed the more conservative the driver is the better chance of getting to the higher side of these increases and maybe a little more. For example, a fleet of about 700 trucks, currently starting to use the FASS System, are receiving an increase of .45mpg across the board. That equates to a $3,639,944.00 savings a year!
Here's how it breaks down...
130,000 Miles Per Year / 5.5 Average MPG = 23,636 Gallons Used Per Year
X 8% FASS Fuel Savings = 1890.88 Gallons Saved Per Year
$2.75 Average Cost Per Gallon = $5199.92 Yearly savings per truck
X 700 Trucks in fleet = $3,639,944.00 Annual Savings
That's an average savings of $440 for a light truck a year at an average of 2,000 gallons used per year. Then add in all the additional benefits like added fuel filtration and increased durability, the decision to run a FASS system is an easy one.
