There are many diesel performance parts and products out there. Which one is right for you? Huckstorf Diesel has spent lots of time doing the research and testing many products so you don't have to. 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Diesel Performance
The 6.4L engine is Ford's answer to the next level of emissions required for 2008. With a compound turbo setup this engine packs a powerful punch. There are products in the works for this engine by all the popular manufactures. Below is a listing of what is currently available.
Banks Six-Gun® Diesel Tuner & switch
The Banks Six-Gun is calibrated for work and fun applications. Six-Gun delivers power with CleanTuneTM technology, has change-on-the-fly power levels, and has exclusive AutoRate® and ActiveSafety® engine and transmission safeguards. Six-Gun will increase your 0-60 mph by 12% and maintain safe exhaust gas temperatures. If you are looking for added power for work or play, you can depend on Banks to get it done safely.
The Six-Gun is a separate module that hooks into the engine wiring harness. It takes the information coming from the truck's computers, optimizes that information for added power, and sends it to the proper engine controls. This method does not require re-flashing of the factory computer and is a straight forward "plug and play" type of installation.
Six-Gun delivers best gains of +95 hp and +180 lb-ft.
All gains measured at the rear wheels, with recommended airflow improvements.

The Performance Management Tool (PMT) is an adjustable on the fly downloader, monitor and gauge all packaged into one unit. The easy to use interface offers both push button or touch screen navigation; both navigation styles come with each unit and are active all the time. The color screen offers the best contrast and resolution of any screen in the industry along with the highest level of diesel performance that customers have come to expect from Bully Dog's engineers.
There is only one part number and it works on 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L, Ford 2003-2009 6.0L & 6.4L, and GM 2001-2009 6.6L diesel engines. Like the Triple Dog downloader, the PMT will offer Free Internet Upgrades to accommodate future vehicle applications and features. The PMT can be updated over the Internet with ease and speed using the Update AgentTM; the simple to use software program developed by Bully Dog Technologies.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes: Read Diagnostic Codes off of the engine computer, displays the code description, and then erases the code from the vehicle computer.
Bully Dog Gauge Tuner "GT" All of the same features that the PMT has are included in the GT, plus a few more. The main difference is in the size of the display screen. The GT has a screen that is 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall. The PMT screen is 2.75 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall.
New to the GT is the all new patent pending Driving Coach feature. According to outside research studies, drivers can save up to 37% on their monthly fuel bill simply by adopting better driving habits. The Driving Coach feature shows people specifically where their current losses are coming from so they can make adjustments to correct their inefficiencies. It provides audio and visual feedback to instruct a driver into better driving habits.

Enable the Bully Dog GT exhaust temperature protection feature with this EGT probe kit. The Pyrometer Probe Kit includes all the parts and pieces necessary to acquire exhaust gas temperatures to display on the Triple Dog GT.
If you would rather mount the GT into a pillar pod instead of using the suction cup window mount that is included with the GT, then this part is what you need. This custom mounting piece will allow anyone to mount the GT diesel into any standard or custom gauge pod mount that is equip with standard gauge hole sizes of 2 1/16in. Installation with this custom mount with the T-slot design only takes seconds, the custom mount simply snaps into any of the standard gauge positions on a gauge pod. If gauge pods are out of spec then the gauge pods may need to be modified, be certain however that this custom piece will always be within tolerance so there will be no problem installing this gauge piece into any brand of gauge pod.
MAXIMUM HORSEPOWER AND TORQUE - The Triple Dog can provide an increase of 120 horsepower and 240 lbs.-ft. torque in the Extreme setting*. (*Actual increases depend on vehicle make, model and year.)
QUICK ADJUSTABILITY - The Triple Dog is the ONLY downloader or tuner offering this feature which allows users to adjust horsepower and transmission settings without reloading a new program.
TRANSFERABLE FROM ONE VEHICLE TO ANOTHER - You can transfer the Triple Dog to other vehicle brands so you'll never have to leave the horsepower behind. No other product gives users this level of flexibility and use of use. The same unit works on GM, Ford, and Dodge trucks.

The new Color Screen "CS" and Color Touch Screen "CTS" Evolution systems are Edge's downloader tuners with color displays. These systems use the OBD2 port to reprogram the factory computer that eliminates the need for an external module. This method has been more reliable than the modules which could have a problem with their circuit boards. The module systems like the Juice with Attitude do have an advantage over the Evolution systems because they have the ability to change between the power levels on the fly. The Evolution systems have an advantage over the modules because they have the ability to correct for tire size changes, read and clear trouble codes, and in the Race applications they can configure the factory computer to accept free flowing exhaust systems. Edge's latest Juice with Attitude release for the 6.4L Ford is Edge's most sophisticated and power-producing module to date. The Juice with Attitude dramatically improves the Ford 6.4L's driveability, towing capability, mileage and power.
The Juice plugs into the truck's factory connections in a matter of minutes and communicates directly with the engine's ECM. The Attitude is the in-cab controller that controls the Juice and provides constant real-time updates on the truck's vital information. Using the Attitude, you can choose from five different power levels on the fly.
The Juice with Attitude produces gains in horsepower and ft-lbs of torque - anywhere from 20-70 additional horsepower and 60-120 additional ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. The Attitude functions as a comprehensive gauge display by monitoring exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), turbo boost, transmission slip and engine coolant temperature. The module even has built-in safety features to protect the truck, such as audible alerts and automatic defueling to prevent excessive EGT, boost levels and transmission slippage. It also displays 0-60 and quarter-mile times, adjusts for non-stock tire sizes and displays clears diagnostic trouble codes.
New with this module are a color-adjustable Attitude plus a custom pod to make the unit look like it came stock with the truck. Additionally, this is the first ever Internet-updateable module that Edge offers.
