Ford FASS Diesel Fuel Pumps

Ford 7.3L and 6.0L trucks were designed with a poor fuel supply system.  Under high demand, especially when performance enhancers are added, the injectors can use up all the fuel supplied to them.  The factory fuel supply can not keep up with the demand.

The FASS pumps will solve the fuel supply problems, but there is a big design flaw in the way the fuel gets delivered to the injectors.  In both the 7.3L and the 6.0L engines the fuel is routed through restrictive lines into the cylinder head where the injectors get the fuel.  The problem is that air pockets build up in the heads and the fuel going into the injectors can be foamed up.  The number eight injector has the most problems and Ford came out with a separate injector as the "fix".  The right way to solve the flaw is to install a regulated return line kit.  These kits use an outlet in the head which allows fuel to constantly flow through the head and maintains a constant fuel pressure to the injectors.  The air problem is solved and the restrictions are eliminated.  The result is a quieter running engine and more power available when you need it.  Call us for pricing and availability.

Due to all the air in fuel problems with Ford trucks we recommend using the FASS systems that have the fuel filter, water separator, and air separation.  You have two choices in FASS Fuel Systems for the Ford trucks. 

• Option one is to add a FASS system to help the factory pump keep up with cleaner fuel that is free from power robbing air.  This system is easier to install. 

• Or if you know that you are going to get serious with the power you can replace the factory pump with a FASS system designed to do the whole job.
