2007-2009 Dodge 6.7L Performance
Late in 2007 Dodge introduced the 6.7L engine. This engine met the new emission requirements needed for 2008. One of the biggest changes was the introduction of particulate filters in the exhaust. These filters trap all the soot and will go into a regeneration mode about once every tank of fuel. Diesel fuel is injected into the exhaust system by the fuel injectors spraying fuel in the exhaust stroke of the engine. This super heats the exhaust and the filter and cleans the filter much like a self cleaning oven. Using fuel to clean the particulate filter, results in a negative effect on fuel mileage.
Several companies have come out with performance upgrades for the 6.7L Cummins trucks. The power increases are not as big as they were on the earlier model Cummins engines because excessive smoke will plug the particulate filter in a hurry.
Notice: Trucks made after March 1st 2009, or trucks that had a computer program reflash after that date, have programming from Dodge designed to prevent aftermarket companies from reprogramming the computer. The aftermarket is now working on compatible programs for this issue. So far, Bully Dog & H&S have solved this issue.

PMT 
The Bully Dog's Performance Management Tool (PMT) is an adjustable on the fly downloader, monitor and gauge all packaged into one unit. The easy to use interface offers both push button or touch screen navigation; both navigation styles come with each unit and can be active all the time. There is only one part number and it works on 2003-2009 Dodge 5.9L & 6.7L, Ford 2003-2009 6.0L & 6.4L, and GM 2001-2009 6.6L diesel engines. GT 
Bully Dog Gauge Tuner "GT" All of the same features that the PMT has are included in the GT, plus a few more. The main difference is in the size of the display screen. The GT has a screen that is 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall. The PMT screen is 2.75 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall.

GT Pillar Mount Adapter 
If you would rather mount the GT into a pillar pod instead of using the suction cup window mount that is included with the GT, then this part is what you need. This custom mounting piece will allow anyone to mount the GT diesel into any standard or custom gauge pod mount that is equip with standard gauge hole sizes of 2 1/16in. Installation with this custom mount with the T-slot design only takes seconds, the custom mount simply snaps into any of the standard gauge positions on a gauge pod. If gauge pods are out of spec then the gauge pods may need to be modified, be certain however that this custom piece will always be within tolerance so there will be no problem installing this gauge piece into any brand of gauge pod.
