1988-1993 Dodge Cummins VE Pump Fuel Pin & Governor Spring Upgrade
The VE pump Fuel Pin & Governor Spring from BD helps your 1988-1993 Cummins 5.9L Dodge truck make more power. An estimated increase of 30-40hp and 90-100 ft. lbs. of torque, is possible with minimal tools and approximately 2-3 hours of your time. You will feel the difference every time you drive! BD makes these VE fuel pins from high quality Chromalloy steel and are machined with a duel process that are first rough milled with a precision radius angle cut, heat treated to the 52 Rockwell hardness scale, then a final precision ground radius cut. The kit also includes a 3200 rpm governor spring to extend the engine RPM band by 700 rpm.

Looks easy right? No so much on the truck under the hood. It certainly can be done, but be awfully careful not to get dirt into the injection pump. Dirt will damage the intricate internal parts of the pump. If your pump is not nice and new like the one in the video, we recommend having these upgrades done at Huckstorf Diesel!
